Over 20 Years in the Making |

Coming into its’ own… In 1993, the series traveled north to the studios of the New York Network in Albany, New York, and that’s where it stayed. Partnering with The Teacher Centers, Regents Review Live! expanded its’ television distribution, added up to date production elements, and continued to answer hundreds of call-in questions. In 1999, a web component was added to give students the opportunity to e-mail their questions as well. A New Beginning… 2010 marks the beginning of a new era for the series, starting with a new name. Why the new title? Good question. With the enormous popularity of both the DVR and the internet, we dropped the “live” call-in format and instead turned to the internet for student/teacher interactivity. The Regents Review 2.0 web site has totally been re-tooled to use video clips, test taking tips, and social media to bring a whole new dimension to the regents review experience. The series also has a new and committed partner in the Association of Public Broadcasting (APBS). Working closely with New York Network, APBS is distributing the series and all of its resources to classrooms, libraries and homes, all across New York State. 20 years later, Regents Review 2.0 continues the proud tradition of: "Making a difference when it matters the most!" |
