Teacher: Jenni Leaver, Margaretville Central School

 Jenni is in her 17th year of teaching math in New York State and currently teaches at Margaretville Central School in Delaware County. Jenni has been named to "Who’s Who Among American Teachers" numerous times throughout her teaching career. Mrs. Leaver has been a presenter for various math professional development days in the Otsego/Northern Catskill BOCES District. Jenni Leaver is known for her innovative, creative, and fun classroom and incorporates technology into her instruction whenever possible. She is a graduate of SUNY Oneonta with a BS Degree in Math Education and SUNY Plattsburgh with a MS Degree in Education/Administration.

Jenni is developing the math curriculum for RegentsTutor.com. RegentsTutor.com video courses improve student performance throughout the year and prepare students for Regents Exams, by allowing them to navigate thousands of video segments. The videos include video lessons, a video glossary and video answers that explain the right and wrong answers to each question on recent Regents Exams.

Living in rural Delaware County with her husband, daughter, and 2 golden retrievers, Jenni spends as much time as possible hiking, biking, boating, waterskiing, downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, and exercising.
